Steelers' Holmes has charges dropped (TSN)
A judge dismissed misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and assault filed against Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Santonio Holmes. Prosecutors requested the dismissal after concerns about evidence and because Holmes had received anger management and domestic violence counselling through the NFL, city prosecutor Stephen McIntosh said Monday.

Tech football players sentenced for run-in with police (WDBJ 7 Roanoke)
Two Virginia Tech football players will have to do community service for a run-in with Blacksburg police. Receiver Josh Morgan and defensive end Chris Ellis were each sentenced to 100 hours of community service, anger management classes and a year of probation.
