A Hemet man, 21, must stand trial on two counts each of torture and child cruelty for allegedly breaking the bones of his twin son and daughter when they were less than 20 days old, a judge ruled Monday. The torture charges against Kevin Patrick Hanrahan, who turns 22 on Jan. 15, carry a potential life sentence, prosecutors said.
